Helping the handicapped achieve greater satisfaction and achievement is also an ongoing project. Diabetes education and work with the blind, are just a couple of the favorite ongoing projects. Helping the elderly live one more day doing things that make them happy is also high on the list. Being able to get a guide dog was not as important as rescueing Greyhounds and training them to be service dogs. My first one, Bennyhill, helped save my life. I always have a couple around the house and they have become my family. We go to nursing homes together and help with Greyhound Rescue. Abilities of Florida and Frank Planes filmed a half hour TV program to show what can be done if people reach out for what is available to them.
